Genio Pro 5100 is built for AI, featuring MediaTek’s 8th generation NPU that delivers over 50 TOPS of system-level generative AI acceleration. The NPU offers unrivaled acceleration for traditional AI tasks such as object classification and machine vision thanks to MediaTek’s NeuroPilot framework, which supports PyTorch, ONNX runtime, and TFLite (LiteRT). To power the latest generative AI IoT applications, Genio Pro 5100 supports token generation rates of up to 23 tokens per second for large language models (LLMs) as large as 7B parameters. These powerful AI capabilities are critical for real-time decision-making, analyzing complex environments, and interpreting real-time data.
Another standout of Genio Pro 5100 is its multi-camera AI processing. The platform supports up to 16 cameras, making it ideal for enabling rich camera sensor fusion for advanced robotics and drone applications. Additionally, the platform supports 8K30 multi-format video encode/decode, which is especially important for vision-based systems, along with support for two 4K30 + eight FHD30 cameras simultaneously or up to 16 at FHD30 resolution via virtual channels.
The platform’s rich user interfaces are supported by up to three 4K displays. To meet the needs of different target applications and markets, Genio Pro 5100 offers broad support for Linux operating systems, including Yocto, Debian, and Ubuntu distributions. For easier manufacturability in advanced applications, Genio Pro 5100 offers discrete 64-bit LPDDR5x memory at up to 8533Mbps. Lastly, the platform is reliable and resilient, capable of handling industrial temperature ranges from -40°C to +105°C.
